Skim Coating
Skim coatings are offered to 75” widths on one or both sides of the fabric substrate. Overall gauge control is most accurately achieved in widths 48” or less. Contact Customer Service for a more accurate assessment of your requirements. Tire cords and square woven fabrics can be coated in roll sizes of 1,000 lineal yards or 3,000 lbs max. Minimum skim thickness of .020” on 48” and less width are routine in our shop. Overall gauge tolerances meet the industry standard of plus or minus 5%
